ANGÉLIQUE CHERONNET
4 Novembre 1980 - 6 Mai 2018

In 2018 the world of art in Ireland and France lost Angelique’s bright and beautiful personality. She was a French woman and an Irish woman. Her physical journey brought her back and forth between the two countries for 37 years. Her spiritual journey spanned many disciplines, from photography to painting and performance.

Since her passing her close friends and collaborators have been archiving her work, to ensure that the heart of her life’s journey is represented and experienced with accuracy, respect and love.

The first step will be the exhibition, titled simply ‘Angélique Cheronnet’, which opens at Espace Lhomond Gallery, near the Centre Culturel Irlandais, on November 8 and runs until November 11.

This exhibition is presented with the help of the Irish Cultural Centre. Curated by Keshet Zur, Alan Lambert, Mary Culinan and Aoife McAtamney, with contributions from Natasha Christia.

Angélique Cheronnet’ Exhibition opening: 6.30pm-8pm admission free

Fri-Sun: 2pm-6pm

Espace Lhomond, 21 rue Lhomond, Paris 5e
